KMC e12 EPT 12 Speed Chain - Dark Silver - 130 Links

A strong chain designed specifically for E-Bikes and to be able to work efficiently under the stress and loads that E-bikes put on the drivetrain. The E-Series was developed with extra safety reserves for E-Bikes, but is still a perfect choice for classic bikes. This 12 speed chain comes with the highly effective EPT anti-rust coating for added endurance and protection.

EPT Coating

The environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ technology EPT from KMC protects chains against corrosion for twice as long as convetional rust protection, setting a new standard. Each component of every chain link is treated separately with EPT. This means a 100% coating that offers the lowest possible attack by water, salt, and air humidity.

Another characteristic of EPT: The very smooth surface gives chains excellent running qualities. Dirt buildup is minimised in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly relieved.
