Ideal for city, touring or BMX bikes with narrow sprockets. Compatible with derailleur systems (5, 6 & 7 speed) as well as internal hub gear systems (5, 6, 7, 12 or 14 speed). IntraX chains are more durable than conventional chains due to bushings in their inner links that ensure a greater carrying on the link surface (wider 1/2" x 1/8" chains do not run optimally on narrower sprockets).

- High-grade nickel-coated inner and outer places for effective protection against corrosion
- 1/2" x 3/32" Pin length: 7.4mm
- Weight: 339g/110 links
- 108 Links inc Snap On link

By

The Brompton chains don’t seem to last as long as Wipperman chains and so I’m wondering if this would fit a two speed Brompton
Many thanks
Kind regards
Yes, this would work, we tend to fit / recommend KMC X8 chains.

Thanks!

Is there any difference in quality between Wippermann 708 3/32 Inch 5 / 6 / 7 Speed Chain with 108 Links and the Wippermann 804 3/32 Inch 6 / 7 / 8 Speed Chain with 114 Links?
Also, what about the
I realise the more expensive one comes with more links and a connex link but is it worth paying the extra?
I'm running a 7 speed Shimano mega- range rear screw-on freewheel and 48 tooth outer ring.
Many thanks,
Peter

General differences for chains are the coating, weight etc.

The main difference for these will be the weight.
