Replacement 44T spider chainset as found on post-2013 bikes.
Lightweight but strong construction.
Removable chainring - easy to replace when worn or change gear ratios.
Uses a 119mm JIS bottom bracket.
Suitable for older, pre 2013, bikes but will require a replacement bottom bracket.

My Brompton (2012) has the older Crank with a 44T Fixed Chainwheel and I'd like to know if this newer Brompton Spider Crankset 44T would fit without me having to replace my bottom bracket.
Also, what other alternative (cranks) could you suggest?

Hi,
The newer chainsets can be fitted to the older bikes, it will require a new bottom bracket though. The bottom bracket needed for the spider chainsets is SJSC part number 31610.
