Are these JIS type?
By

Generally speaking, is it correct to assume that all thorn BB and cranks are JIS?
Unless otherwise stated the taper will be JIS. SK 30/05/23
Can I use this with a 5/6/7 speed rear cassette?
By

I see the description says compatible with CSA 9 or 10 speed. I have a Peugeot Tandem which is 15 speed although I am planning to upgrade it to 18 or possibly 21 speed. Will this chainset work with these rear cassettes, or is it only 9 and 10 speed rear cassette compatible?
These will really only work with 9/10 speed.

Bottom bracket sizing

Thanks for last reply. Also our current BB is 68mm frame width 112mm between conical squares will this work with crank or should we get different BB. And can you get a BB to work with our frame size and this crank? Thank You!!
Generally you would need 115mm front and rear,

You recommend a 115mm bottom bracket for this crankset. But for what chainline? Will it take smaller bottom brackets?
The chain line is 45mm dedicated for road use.
Thanks

can i use this with 122mm bottom bracket
By

Hi,

Although it would fit to an 122mm bottom bracket the extra long spacing would push the chain-line right and and cause shifting issues.

Thanks.
What Is The Correct Chain Width?

Hello, can I check if the front chain (pilot to stoker) needs to be 3/32 or 1/8? Also do you sell these chains, or would I need to join two 'normal' chains? Many thanks.
Hi,

The timing chain connecting the stoker's chainset to the pilot's chainset needs to be a 3/32" chain. These are not available in Tandem lengths unfortunately so you will need to join two normal chains together.

Thanks.
