Details

Replacement 50T spider chainset as found on post-2013 bikes.

Lightweight but strong construction.

Removable chainring - easy to replace when worn or change gear ratios.

Uses a 119mm JIS bottom bracket.

Weight: 426g (Right), 235g (Left)

Suitable for older, pre 2013, bikes but will require a replacement bottom bracket.

Great replacement for the old spider less type

ProsEasy to fit

Replaced an old spider less chainset on a Brompton with this one and it was a remarkably painless process. Make sure you also replace the bb as the old one is not compatible with the newer cranks

Can you tell me the weight of your item no 43741
the black crankset set and arms for a Brompton.....as im trying to compare it lightweight alternatives

hello
I have a 6 speed brompton with the silver crank set and am looking to change to black, would this 50 t be the same as the one currently on my bike?

What is a bottom ?

Suitable for older, pre 2013, bikes but will require a replacement bottom bracket.

The pre 2013 bikes use an ISO bottom bracket, the newer ones use a JIS bottom bracket as seen here - SJS Cycles part number : 31207
