The innovative, lightweight Chainblade system includes a telescopic function, adaptable to the length of the rear chainstay, + / - 125 mm.

Constructed from aluminium, plastic and zinc plated high quality steel, in a smart matt black finish, 3 versions are available for different types of gear systems.

Only for derailleur gears, crankset must include a chainguard ring: max chainring diameter 199mm / 46-48T.

ConsA discouraging product description, putting off potential sales!!

ProsReasonably priced, good adaptable build quality

I bought one of these previously for my custom built NuVinci based bike. I just made some brackets to replace the front chain ring assembly, it worked flawlessly. Not sure if I got it from SJS though. I'm about to by another to fit to a Thorn Nomad & I will apply a similar mod. I would be prepared to supply pictures of my mod to anyone who feels like trying this! p.s. some mechanical aptitude is necessary!!
