Is this compatible iwth a 7-speed cassette?

How do I measure the BB width? Is it just between the outer edges of the frame or the width of the axle?

Hi, yes it will work with a 7 speed cassette.
There are two measurements, the overall axle length (normally between 103 mm and 127 mm) and the width of the frame shell (usually 68 mm or 73 mm).

Would I be able to use this with 7speed freewheel?

Although this chainset was designed for a 9spd set up, in theory it could be used with a 7spd system without too many issues.

This is a 9spd chainset, but to get a standard 50mm chainline in the middle ring position this chainset requires an 113mm bottom bracket.
