Will this work with an FC-M591

Is it generic and wide enough of a pull?

this should work as Shimano 9 speed groupsets are cross-compatible. It is also bottom pull.
Which Pull
01 Jul 2019
Top or bottom pull or dual ?

it is bottom pull.

is this compatible with a Sora flat bar shifter?
14 Jun 2019
Yes, this would be fine.

Can I use this with an MTB triple chainset?
04 Jun 2019
provided it's a 9 speed chainset and youy are using a road shifter it then depends on the ring sizes and seat tube/chainstay angle, it might work with an outer ring as small as 48t, why not buy a relevant MTB shifter? RT070619
