Can this be used for top pull?

SJS Customer Service:
The derailleur is bottom pull only, however you can re-route the cable pull using item 38171S286, this will take the cable pull from the top and allow it to be used from the bottom. SK 12/01/23

This derailleur is designed to be used with narrower 10 speed chains, use with a 9 speed system is not recommended as rubbing or worse may occur. SK 06/11/23
Will this replace a FD 4603 front derailleur.

Triple chain set 50 39 30 and 10 speed cassette 11 - 32, the last derailleur did sometimes catch the cage on the extremes of the gearing I don't want any less range. Hope this makes sense
