I recommend this product
Competitively priced wide range derailleur suitable for touring bicycles. In use with 8 speed 11-34 cassette, working with 24-34-46 front triple. Bolted to tapped holes in drop out but additionally supplied with hanger for use with untapped dropouts.

ProsWorks well and very good value.
This low cost derailleur works well with my 11-42 tooth cassette, but probably wouldn't work with a wider range.

ConsNone really at the price.
ProsIts a really good fderailleur for very little money.
A very low priced derailleur that works exceptionally well. Unusual in its single sprung pivot design with the guide pulley concentric with the sprung pivot. It doesn't have the unsprung pivot on the hanger bolt as most others do when the bolt is correctly tightened. This seems to lend rigidity to the action and with a bar end indexed shifter it shifts very well indeed. For the price of a set of new jockey wheels you can't fault it. The pulley cage is relatively flimsy but if you did bend it it could be straightened easily enough as it is of thin steel construction. I like it a lot particularly as it is just so good in its accurate indexing. Five stars.
Great Rear Mech

I recommend this product
If you fancy being a bit more original than using ubiquitous Shimano then this is a great alternative. Can't really tell any difference in quality, compatability or functionality from similarly priced Shimano rear mechs. It seems very robust and well made. I use on a Surly LHT with MTB 8 speed Sunrace drivetrain for touring and all works really well.

Can you confirm that it comes with the hanger that appears in the photo? I'm planning to use it in a frame without hanger. Thanks
Hi there,

This does indeed come with the hanger.

Thanks.
