Presumably meets specification, although life seems to be rather short. Note the comment by another reviewer on avoiding unplanned operation which does wear flats on the ring. Life seems to be very short if not glued on, evostik being suitable and easy to remove, when replacing the ring.

I've had my Axa dynamo for about 10 years now and it has saved a fortune in batteries and the environment! When fitting these tyres ensure that they only touch the tyre when operating, or a flat spot wears on them creating noise and premature failure. I think I have created flat spots also by engaging the dynamo whilst moving.

Rubber ring had detached itself and disappeared from Axa HR rim dynamo - factory fitted to my 2010 Brompton

I ordered twinpack off SJS website on Saturday, and order was marked dispatched same day. It was on the doormat Wednesday afternoon, which I rate as decently quick for basic shipping.

Judging by package label it is a genuine Axa spare.

Ring is very tight fit on roller, so it took some effort to fit it ... carrier and tyre mean space around the dyno is tight. I was almost at point of removing dynamo when ring snapped into place. It is now a good tight fit, and lights are brilliant again

Hope that means ring won't come off ... but if it does, then I will be glad of second one in pack

My rubber roller snapped a week ago, so I got this to replace it. It fits well and works well.

My dynamo was slipping on the wheel and since replacing the worn rubber it has been working properly and is much quieter.
