Details

Use these attractive quick-release connectors and you can disconnect the Revolution from your bike while leaving the wiring in place. The Revolution is small enough to store in a handlebar bag, now you can easily take the Revolution with you whenever you need to. The connectors are gold plated and won't corrode!

These are not crimp connectors - the wire is soldered to the connector. Sinewave Cycles recommend this as it ensures that the wire will not pull out of the connector. It does, however, require a soldering iron.

Heat Shrink Tubing is included!

Each order is for a full set of connectors (2 x Male & 2 x Female).

ProsCheapish, convenient, looks better than bulky spade connectors

Very useful addition to Sinewave Revolution to allow easy removal (I only want this for long / multi-day events) - they also allow me to swap the one unit between different bikes.

Installing these is quite a fiddle though and will depend on how confident you are with a soldering iron. These are really small units and theres only a tiny join for a thin wire with solder - no crimping is possible. That said, I think that I've made a robust join with the combination of soldering and heat shrink tubing - time will tell, I suppose.

What size are the connecters?

I am wanting to have a cable inside my fork, and then at the top and bottom openings I will create connection ports.

I need to work out if I can attach the connectors before passing the cable down inside the fork leg, or if I will have to solder after the cable is in place..

Sinewave Beacon?

The description mentions using this with the Sinewave Revolution - presumably it's suitable for use with the Sinewave Beacon, too?
