Handling compromise over Superlight front wheel
By
23 Mar 2021
Hi,
Wondering whether I’ll be negating the advantages of the improved front wheel Superlight by fitting one of these dynamo kits?
How do the hubs compare to the superlight hub, just as a hub I mean (not referring to the actual dynamo capabilities but in terms of general performance). And weight difference between superlight wheel and one of your dynamo wheels? Thanks
If you fit a dynamo, of course there will be extra weight and slightly more rolling friction, but modern dynamos are so good it would not be noticeable for the average user.

Thanks

I?d like to build this hub into a 16? double wall Brompton rim with a radial lacing pattern, could you please advise what the correct spoke length is?
138mm, radial.

We have it built here - SJS Cycles part number : 51375

Thanks - 12/11/19
Will I need to buy new spokes to lace this hub or can I reuse the old Brompton ones?

Unless you have this hub fitted already, and the spokes are in perfect condition, you will need new spokes of the correct length,

Thanks - 23/10/18
What length spokes to build this hub into a 16 inch wheel for Brompton. Sp sv8 dynamo.
