Good Replacement, But Not For Brompton Conversions

ConsDifficult to make it to work on a M Type mudguard less Brompton

ProsGood replacement if your Brompton came with one of those.

I removed the mudguards from my pre 2000 M Brompton, to give it a cleaner look, and with it I lost the original hook that worked really well. I bought this one, as it is stand alone, and so to keep the bike as a neat package while carrying it, but the bike keeps unfolding, even with it! It is installed correctly, but it does not manage to keep the bike closed and even the lightest shake will make the tube snap from it and unfold the bike while in the air.
