Details
Includes all threads tapped and stainless bolts fitted for racks, mudguards and bottle bosses.
Also includes the fitting of the Fork Crown race, on frames where a choice of forks is offered.
·Flap wheel overspray in seat tube (and the eccentric shell in the case of one of our Rohloff Specific Frames – Raven, Nomad, Mercury and Raven Twin)
·Tap all threads.
·Stainless blanking screws in all threads.
M5 Hexagon head screws (8mm head) are used for directly attaching mudguards - where socket cap screws (Allen headed) would fill with road debris.
M5 Hex screws are used for attaching carriers on bikes which may carry substantial luggage - Club Tour, Voyager, Sherpa and Raven frames.
(M6 Socket cap screws are used for carriers on Nomad and Raven Twin frames.)
M5 Socket cap screws are used for all bottle bosses and also for attaching carriers on Audax, and Mercury frames.
·Cavity spray and seal head tube with masking tape.
.Check hanger alignment on derailleur bikes.
·Grease eccentric, seat tube and steerer tube

could you set the thorn audax frame from 132.5 OLD to 130 permanently ??

If you are planning on using a 130mm OLD rear wheel permanently there are no implications and will be absolutely fine.

Does This Include Bb Cable Guide?

Does this include mountain of a cable guide on the underside of the BB or is that already supplied with the frame? If not, what type of cable guide is required for a Sherpa frame? And is there any reason why you supply hex bolts for this frame, allens for others?

Hi,
The BB cable guide should already be supplied with the frame. We normally fit hex head bolts on the more robust touring bikes as they tend to get used in muddier conditions and the allen key bolts can fill with mud. If you email us after you have placed your ordering specifically asking for allen key bolts instead then we can fit these instead for you.

Can Hex Bolts Be Changed To Allen Key Bolts?

It is possible to specify allen key bolts if you wish, all you'll need to do is email us after you have placed the order with your order number and just state that you'd like to change to allen key bolts and we'll make sure that happens for you.
