Compatible with the Bobike Mini range of front mounted child seats.
- The Bobike Mini is an approved child seat (maximum load 15kg)
- For toddlers from 7 months to 3 years old
- Compatible only with Brompton "M" handlebar (up to and including 2016)
- Weight: 450g
- Not compatible with the Brompton front basket
- Remains permenantly assembled and does not affect the bike's normal use. When the bike is folded the edge protrudes about two centimetres from the right hand side
- Certificate TUV Rheinland strength and durability

Hi, could you advise if it is possible to fit BoBike Mini on Brompton without Milian Bryan adapter? Using, for example, the universal mount provided with the seat? What are the benefits of using Milian Bryan?

It can be physically bolted on, but we would absolutely not recommend it.
The MB allows the child to travel safely and means the seat does not turn or drop lower.

How tight is it supposed to be?

When assembling parts A and B, how tight it it supposed to be? If very tight, does that mean I was supposed to get the post-2017 version? I am not sure if I am just supposed to be really pressing hard to get the screws to work or if I ordered the wrong version.

Remember, this holds your child! So you definitely want it to be pretty snug.
You need the post 2017 if you bike is made after 2017.

Will this work with the H type handlebar of a 2018 Brompton?

There's already a question for this on your webpage but it's a bit confusing as to whether the handle bar is pre or post 2017. Can you clarify?

Hi, this bracket is designed for the M type handlebar used on bikes maufactured in 2016 and before. In 2017 Brompton changed the handlebar stem and bar design which affects the child seat position and therefore compatibility. Thanks 01/08/19

Can I use this with the Kuosac Mid Rise handlebar?

Hi,
I was wondering whether this handlebar mount can be used with the Kuosac Mid Rise handlebar? I have abrompton with a S-handlebar but would like to be able to use a child seat for my daughter. It says, however, that the mount only works with the M-type handlebar so I was thinking about replacing my S with the Kuosac but if the mount only fits the M-type and not the Kuosac there would be no need for me to by the mount. I will probably buy did Kuosac no matter what but if you are able to say whether I can use the mount with the Kuosac it would be great.

Unfortunately the handlebars are not what causes incompatibility. The S type stem is too steep and therefore the child seat leans too far forward!

Yes this should fit, but the Exclusive is a larger seat so its recommended using the Classic as its smaller!
