I recommend this product
I'd recommend these. They are better quality in my experience than the Sunrace ones.

I recommend this product
Brand new freewheel for the price of a s/h one. Only wanted for an old tandem refurb, just the job.

Which Shimano chain can be used with this Ventura 5 speed freewheel?
By
30 May 2022
Could you please advise, which Shimano chain can be used with this Ventura 5 speed freewheel? Is the Shimano CN-HG40 Narrow 6-7-8 speed compatible?
Thank you in advance.
Yes, any Shimano or other brand 5/6 speed chain should work fine with this.

Will this Ventura 5 speed freewheel fit a Claud Butler which is circa 50 years old.
By

Sadly we have no way of being able to confirm this, its likely that if the wheel uses a threaded freewheel holder this might work.

Are the bearings in this unit already greased?
By
07 Sep 2021
I recently bought one of these and have some questions before use.

Do the bearings come ready greased or should I open with a pin spanner and lubricate prior to use? What would be the recommended lubricant / compound?

Additionally please can you advise what lubricant to use on the gear sprockets where they meet the chain as well? Thank you.
Thank you for your enquiry, it would already be greased ready to fit, any good chain lube will be fine on the chain.
