ProsGood quality, works well.

Bought this to replace horrible twist grip shifter which seized up with a few grains of sand! This trigger shifter seems to be good quality, similar to Shimano only 3 gears. More reliable and easier to use, if a little pricey.

The clamp size is standard bar size (approx. 22.8mm) and yes, compatible with your three speed hub. SK 24/07/23

Hi, Can I use this with the SFR3 hub, and what is the suitable handle bar diameter for mounting the shifter?

This shifter is compatible with the SFR3. A suitable diameter for the handlebars would be approximately 20mm.

This shifter does indeed share the same indexing as your BWR hub so will be fine for use with it.

Would This Work With A 3 Speed Brompton?

Does it have a index click change? Likely to catch when folding?

Hi,

This should be fine for use with the 3spd hub found in a Brompton. The shifter is indexed so should lick through each gear. We have never fitted one of these, so we can't say for 100% sure but looking at the shape of the shifter you should be fine.
