Does the shifter come with outer cable housing fitted?

or do i need to buy a special (stronger) crimp for the end of the cable after fitting the cable through the housing?

SJS Customer Service:

The shifter only comes with the inner cable not the outer cable or the cable end ferrules. The outer will need to be purchased separately and cut to length. SK 12/07/23

Is this compatible with a Sturmey Archer AB3 hub?

Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Twist Grip Shifter & Cable For Internal Gears C30 Rotary -
Suitable for all 3 speed Sturmey Archer internal hub gear systems & can be used with new or old Sturmey 3 spd hub systems.
Standard 22.2 handlebar clamp, Inner cable length 165cm & Outer cable length 145cm.

1. at the opposite end of the cable, has it got the bar with the threaded inner to connect to indicator chain?
2. what is the width (how much handle bar space will it need in mm please)

Overall length is approx 80mm, and the cable bar connector is not included.

Would this be suitable for a Brompton M3L? Model year is 2005

Hi, it will work but the problem is space on the handlebar. You will need to cut your grip down. Thanks
