What is the cable travel length between gear 1 and 4 ?

SJS Customer Service:

Yes the shifter is compatible, sadly the cable pull figures are no published. SK 03/01/25

Is this shifter compatible with an old four speed FM hub with an indicator spindle.

The original shifter has seem better days. I don’t think a new version of the traditional 4 speed trigger is available any more.

SJS Customer Service:

The original shifters can often be found on ebay, the original shifter did 3 or 4 which implies the 1st 3 were the same, I can't find any information of this so regrettably we can't give a definative answer. RT 03/0/2020
