Is this shifter compatible with the X-RF5 hub?

is this a suitable replacement for the twist grip shifter for the X-RF5 hub? the indicator window has broken off the current twist shifter and i would prefer a trigger type shifter anyway.

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately this shifter will not work with this X-RF5, it is only compatible with their rotary hubs, so those that start 'RX'.

Is this shifter compatible with the SA SRF5(w) hub ?

(Similarly I have problems with jumping gears, in my case using the SLS-50 thumbshifter)

Sturmey Archer RX-RD5 Hub

Hi,

I have trouble with the above hub jumping gears, reading in forums they suggest using this shifter instead of the thumb version I have.

Can you confirm this is ok to use with this hub? and also can you advise a suitable cable to be included in the order.

Yes this would be perfectly suitable, the item comes with a 2100mm inner cable.
