A great trigger shifter from Sturmey Archer

ProsIt works as good as any other trigger shifter I have owned (Avid double tap was my favourite)

I fitted this in lieu of the twist shift as the twist shift is inclined to change gears unexpectedly.

It also allows you to install a full grip for the brake lever instead of having to compromise on grip (with the twist shift) and compromise on the position of the brake lever

Wanted to change gear on my new bike in the same way as my other bikes that have Shimano mechs. SJS had the unit in stock and at a fair price, delivery was within days, great service.

Does the attachment clamp on this open up so i can attach or does it have to be slid on?

I want to fit the shifter on a part of my handlebar that i can't access from sliding on from the end.
