Shadow RD Compatable?
By
23 Oct 2023
Hello,

I have heard that Shadow RD rear derailleur will not work with with Dia-Compe friction shifters. Do you know if this is true?
The shifters are compatible with almost any rear derailleur including Shadow derailleurs. SK 24/10/23
Will these work with a Sensah Empire Pro, 12-speed?
By

I have Sensah Empire Pro, 12-speed on my Boardman ADV 8.6 and want to move to friction-shifting. Is there enough lever travel and cable pull tension for these to work with 12-speed? If it helps, I think the Sensah Empire groupsets are similar to SRAM in terms of cable pull.
We cannot confirm if this will work as we have not tested it ourselves. SK 24/07/23
Can I use this with a shimano deore 3x10?

Hi, I'm looking for the microshift 3x10 mtb shifters, but they are sold out, this will be good for a deore 3 speed front deraulier and a 10 speed rear deraulier?
Thank you for your enquiry, as they are friction with no indexing they will fine

Can these work on downtube?
By
04 Apr 2021
I already have these, but was looking to fix them on the downtube, is that possible.my bicycle does not have a braze on, is there an adaptor for this please.
Providing your downtube is 28.6mm diameter, you could use SJS Cycles part number : 49474.
If you downtube is slightly larger, SJS Cycles part number : 31401 may be suitable to then use - SJS Cycles part number : 38083

Dia Compe bar end shifters.
By

Hi, I want to buy a pair of Dia Compe friction bar end shifters. You have two models I like. The Dia Compe ENE https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/gear-shifters/diacompe-ene-bar-end-shifters-power-ratchet-friction-control-silver/

and another one https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/gear-shifters/diacompe-bar-end-shifters-power-ratchet-friction-control/

Aesthetically I prefer the ENE. Is there any difference between them apart from the aesthetics?

Thank you.

Boh the Dia-Compe Bar End Shifters and the Dia-Compe ENE Bar End Shifters function the same. The only difference is appearance.
