ProsSimple, well made gear shifter

I've always been a fan of bar end and thumb shifters and have used same in mainly indexed mode for many years. Having recently installed a new rear derailleur I thought I'd go for this stylish looking friction thumb shifter - and what a great experience! Light action ratchet shifting across any gear, easy set up and so simple to use and maintain.

Will this work with Microshift advent?

Im looking to combining this with micro shift advent 9 speed cassette and derailleur. Would this work? Already bought the shifter from you, so if not, can you recommend an alternative with a similar result?

Yes, it will as its friction so it would work with anything up to 12 speed.

These shims, 26.0 to 22.2, are they available as a spare part?

I have a parí of Paul thumbies 26.0. And I want to use them next to my brake levers (22.2).
Those specific measures seem to be extremely rare, even as handlebar shims it doesn't seem to exist really.
Do you have anything in mind? Or could I use a 22.2-25.4 shim (I know some clamps with specs 26.0 work with 25.4 and for some it's a big no no, depending design.
