Wanted a thumb shifter that works with Shimano 10 speed DynaSys and these shift fine on index and friction.

Under-bar mounting
02 Nov 2021
Can these be mounted with the shifter body under the bar and will this affect the shifting function - i.e. order of gears reversed etc.?
Shifting would be reversed only due to the fact the shifters are upside down.

Total Cable Pull Left Hand Shifter?
04 May 2020
Hello, I would be grateful if you could advise as to how much cable the left hand friction shifter pulls?
This figure is not recorded but it is the larger pull as it's for Triple friction MTN not road RT
Can I use with Campag Veloce road gears?
05 Jan 2020
My bike has northern road bars and bar end shifters at the moment, but these are not so reliable.
If you use them both friction, yes.

Should this work with the Shimano Deore XT RD-M771 9 Speed with a 10-speed cassette?
17 Feb 2019
I recently bought to you the Shimano Deore XT RD-M771 9 Speed Top Normal Rear Derailleur - SGS / Long Cage (SJS Cycles part number : 14338) with the idea of using it with Road 10-speed STI levers with dropbars on my toruring bicycle. But now I have changed my mind and I want to place a flat handlebar. Can these can work with my settings? Should I go for the Dia-Compe ENE Friction Thumbshifters (SJS Cycles part number : 40455)? Or any other alternative? Thanks in advance for the advice.
Hi there,

You should get away with using these shifters as the indexing should be fairly similar, however as we have never tried this we cannot say for certain I'm afraid.

I assume that friction will work with 6 or 7 speed. Correct?
26 Oct 2018
Friction works with anything up to 10!

hi is the left shifter suitable for a triple chainset
30 May 2018
Hi there,

Yes, as per description - - Left: Double or Triple friction

Is the right shifter indexed or only Friction?
11 May 2018
The right hand shifter can be used friction or indexed.

Do these shifters come with cables?
03 Oct 2017

These shifters come with the inner gear cables only.

Will You Be Able To Offer Single Shifters Rather Than The Pair?
02 Jun 2017
I only need the right one!
And will they be in stock again soon?
Hi these shifters are only available as a pair. Currently (02/06/17) the UK importer does not have an accurate due date. Thanks.
And Does It Fit On A 25,4 Bar For Brompton
31 May 2016
and does it fit on a 25,4 bar for brompton

These shifters have a 22.2mm clamp. Most flat/riser handlebars including those on a Brompton will be either 25.4 or 31.8mm where they are clamped in the stem but they will always taper down to 22.2mm where the grips, brakes and shifters fit too.

Do They Work On A Brompton 6Sp

do they work on a brompton 6sp

These will not work on a Brompton I'm afraid, they are designed for 10spd MTB derailleur groupsets.
