takes time to get it set up

Conswill take time to set up properly.

Proswell built good quality.

you will need to start from scratch.Tension yr cable correctly.set yr limit screws.Make sure your b screw is also set well for good shifting (minimal gap,without rubbing).Use yr barrel adjuster for fine adjusting.This could take a while but once set up works fine.Less things can go wrong than with a complicated trigger shifter.

Very happy with this shifter, have set it up with a 9-speed Shimano Sora derailleur and it works brilliantly.

ProsCheaper than most competitors and solid.

Good value reliable product.
Remember to tighten the screws holding down the shifter or it won't hold the indexing.
Solid product for a good price.
