Replacing barend shifters

Hi
Wondering if you knew if these would work as replacements levers on barend mounts. My current Shimano barend shifters are very worn with lots of play, would I be able to replace them with these and continue using my existing Shimano barend mount. Hope this makes sense.

Without knowing the exact model of Shimano shifter you are using its hard to guarantee this. If your able to locate the exact model of shifter you have then we can begin to make suggestions as to if this would work.

Unfortunately there is no shifter with 9-speed indexing downtube clamp.
Is It possible to install 9-speed version to the downtube with help of clamp taken from 8-speed version? Or do you have some clamp which suits my needs?
