Upgraded my 2spd 2016 Brompton shifter, needed that part, ordered and received item very fast from SJS.
Installed part and it works perfect.

ProsFits only the 2017 Shifters

I upgraded my wife’d 2016 M6R to have the new combined brake/gear shifters.
You need this item for the new combined 2017 DR shifter as the cable clamps nearer the pusher end no longer within the trigger shifter.
It is a bit fiddly to get all the bits together and then it is a 1.5mm allen key to tighten the inner cable clamp.

Is there a diagram which shows how to install the "DR Cable Anchorage & Spring Set - Complete - for Integrated Gear Shifter"? The ones on the Brompton website don't show where the various bits all go.

Compatibility Of The "Old" Set

Is this really necessary if you want to upgrade to the new integrated levers? In other words, can I use my "old" cable anchorage and spring with the new integrated levers?

Hi, unfortunately you cannot use your old cable anchorage & spring with the new integrated levers, they will only work with this new set up.
