Unfortunately , they don't appear to fit the downtube location where the original derailleur levers were fitted , as they were located on a tube @ right angles to the downtube . What to do next I'm not so sure ?

Proseasy to fit, polished finish, look smart

updating my 30 year old road bike to one more befitting my ageing self. So touring bars instead of full drops and moved the shifters off the down tube to handlebar indexers. These new cable stops fitted perfectly to the old down tube shifter mounts.

Mounting screws too short

ConsMounting screws too short, do not fit flush to frame

They look good with adjusters that are easier than some to turn.

The fit is not flush with the frame but to be fair, I've seen this with other stoppers too.

The main bad point is that the mounting screws are too short for the frame I was working on. Luckily I had alternatives but a potential buyer needs to bear this in mind.

Can i use this with shimano 600 arabesque down tube shifter ??

Why Are My Ultegra Ones Not A Matching Pair?

The rear mech's cable stop for my old Ultegra stuff doesn't have a barrel adjuster, it has a sort of two position lever. Why? What does it do differently? Would these do as replacements?

Hi,

The down tube stops with the switch pre-date most modern groupsets, so in all honesty its not a design we're that familiar with. All of the groupsets can be used with barrel adjusters though so these Jagwire items could be used as a replacement.

Are these cable stops for down tube braze ons? Looks like it but no picture of the back.

Hi,

Yes these are for the down-tube braze ons where you would normally have down-tube shifters mounted. These are designed to allow you to swap from down-tube shifters to STI levers.
