Poor fit

ConsPoor fit.
ProsStraighter than my origional
Initially very tight to fit the hanger into the recess in the frame. Thought to myself maybe the frame is a little twisted? Tapped it in and it lined up. Then refitted my rear wheel. The wheel didn't look right and the brake disc was rubbing. On closer inspection the wheel wasn't in the drop out fully. I had to file a not insignificant amount from the hanger before the axle would fit into the slot. Also had to re-use my three origionally fixing bolts as the ones supplied were too short to even catch the first thread. Overall quite disappointed but it's on.

Does this come with bolts or a 2nd plate with thread in?

I have a 2000 Marin nail trial and there isn't any thread in the frame work, so I'm not sure how this would be bolted on, is there a 2nd plate with threaded holes?
Hi, there is no threaded plate or bolts supplied. You should have a two piece bolt similar to a chainring bolt set with your frame and old hanger to fit it. Thanks
