For use with Shimano Claris FD-R2000 double front derailleurs.

This Clamp Band Adapter can also be used on the following front derailleurs:

- Shimano Claris FD-R2030
- Shimano Alivio FD-M4020
- Shimano Alivio FD-M4000

These are an "A" match which indicates that the parts are the same in materials, appearance, finish & size etc.

Genuine Shimano replacement part.

ConsNone really.

ProsGood fit, as intended by the manufacturer.

Building up a vintage steel frame and managed to obtain a second hand modern transmission, had no idea front derailleurs were now built for fatter seat tubes and that I'd need an adapter. Very pleased to discover SJS had the exact fitting required, so no need to bodge it. Fits in well and gives the reassurance of a genuine part.

Can it use this with the Claris fd-2400 front derailleur, if not do you have one that will,?

This part is not suitable for the FD-2400, however, Shimano part: Y5NZ98010 is but we do not stock this item.
