Is there a difference between the GS and SS version?

I see the SS version is out of stock and I am wondering if there is a difference, and if I could actually use the GS version?

This Ultegra option is different to the one you need for your Dura Ace rear derailleur. We do however stock the correct one that you require and they are SJSC part number 34059.
