Soma Derailleur Cage Threaded Set - Satin

We built these cages to retrofit some great older Campagnolo equipped bikes and make them practical. The idea was simple, take an existing Campy derailleur and retrofit the cage plates with longer one.

These beautiful 7075 Aluminium replicas are designed using the Campagnolo Rally first generation (part # 3452 and 3453 cage plates) rear derailleur long cages and uses the length of the last Generation Rally derailleur which is 1cm longer.

This was done to give the maximum range of gearing capacity to a Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Super Record, GS, and Rally derailleur of the 70's and 80's. The Campagnolo compatible cage plates allow you to run up to a 32 tooth cog in the rear, and with a 38T chain wrap capacity, depending on your dropouts.

The cage is theaded at 5x0.8 to work with Campagnolo pulley bolts with the inner cage plate threaded to 6x0.75 to bolt onto the Campagnolo Gear Spring bolt.
