I recommend this product
Agree with other reviewers, not cheap, but a bit specialised. Not for the first time, when looking to get something working just as I wanted, checked out SKS and found just the right product.
A problem solving miracle.

ProsDoes the job
Great piece of kit in that it not only acts as a spacer for fitting many front derailleurs to 28.6 mm seat tubes but more importantly allows the front derailleur to operate closer to the seat tube. This is good when using some MTB mechs with closely fitted tripple chainsets where dropping the chain onto the inner chain ring is an issue.

Will this enable me to use front mech designed for a 45mm chainline (like the FD-R3030) with a chainset with a 50mm chainline (like FC-M591)? Thanks a bunch in advance!
Possibly, we could really only tell by test fitting the set up!

Thanks

Hi,

If you're trying to fit your front derailleur to a frame that is 28.6mm in diameter then this should be fine for your needs.

Thanks.
