ConsNone (yet)
ProsComfortable, easy find several different hand positions
Replaced some bar ends I had covered in foam and Specialized BG grips with these. More hand positions, less bulk, able to shift brake and gear levers back to original positions giving more room on bars for lights etc. Very comfortable - feel in control of bike. Very easy to fit.

ProsComfort. Adjustable.
Great grips. Comfortable and adjustable. Having the ends built in means you don't have to sacrafice space on your bars like you do with normal bar ends and your hands move move smoothly between positions.

Will The Ergon GP3 Handle Bar Grips Work On My Brompton M6L 2020
22 Oct 2020
I have the Ergon GP1 which is 132mm and slides in nicely on the handlebar, will this fit and fold nicely as my bike does not have a back rack like the M6R. I am torn between the GP2 and GP3
Technically the GP1 do not fit unless you run aftermarket handlebars / trim the grips down.

The same goes for GP2/3

How can I find the size I need.
Please refer to Ergons website:
Will these fit on Brompton M type handlebars?
29 Apr 2020
Brompton M6. Read a previous answer to question which suggested the grips would require shortening to fit. Would gear changers and brake levers need repositioning and would the folding be affected?
Hi, yes they will fit. The grips need shortening, you can't move the gear shifters and brake levers further in board because of the bend in the handle bars. The fold is not affected but you do need to be careful with the angle of the bar end to avoid them hitting the floor when the bike is folded. Thanks
Would the Ergon GP3 fit a Brompton S type handlebars without interfering with the fold? Thank you.

Yes, unless you angle them extremely up or down, no issues here.

Is it possible to fit a mirror to this grip
13 Aug 2019
I'm using these already and they are great but I want to use a mirror. What would you recommend?
Assuming you've got this version in the picture, the end cap can be removed then can fit a bar end mirror, our best seller of this type is our Busch & Muller Cycle Star 80 Mirror - Short Curved Stem SJS Cycles part number : 35121 would be a great choice.
Which size, small or large for Brompton
28 Jan 2019

Wondering which size is best for Brompton M bars (2017 model Brompton), small or large. Also wondering what part of the grip does the 'small' 'large' size apply to?

It depends on rider's hand
smaller for a gentle hands

many thanks
