I wanted grab ons for drop handlebars, but couldn't find any in stock anywhere. Spotted these and decided that they should do. Washing up liquid inside the grips and on the bars and these slid on easily and now they have dried out they are staying put nicely.
They are slightly thinner than grab ons, but do the job just the same.

Slipped on using just water as a lubricant (a little hard to get on but this is to be expected with this type of grip).

After 1,000km they have proved to be very comfy and, so far, durable.

The easiest way to get these on is to soak them from the inside out with lots of water (block off one end with your thumb and fill tube with water) squeeze the grip so that some water oozes out from the foam, then they'll slide on ok. Water will dry off, and they won't budge. No need for sticky hairspra yor smelly WD40. A good, tough, comfortable grip.

Very good product which I have used before on my butterfly bars. My stoker aged 7 uses a cut down set on our tandem. Easy to fit if you put a small amount of WD40 down them first. It soon dries out and then you cant move them.

I cut this in to four and made two sets of bar end grips a great improvement and very comfortable. A bit of hairspray inside and they slipped on no bother.

Replacement on my wife's Dawes KaraKum bike with butterfly bars, she's very please. Almost exactly a like for like product. I used a squirt of WD40 and they slid on easily, I imagine soapy water would do the same.

Just put these grips on my butterfly bars after having used tape for about six years. Have them fitted along side my ergon grips. They do make a big difference in comfort and provide a bit of insulation in the cold mornings. However, really difficult to get on (lots of water used) tried that hairspray suggestion and it made it worse! But now they are on they are on and won't be moving.

Brilliant - really comfortable - a pain in the arse to fit though!!!
