The 31.8er handlebars by Ergotec are real trendsetters. Thanks to the larger diameter of the tube the cockpit has been considerably upgraded and is now an excellent visual match for the thicker tubing of the modern alloy and carbon frames.

ProsErgotec quality at a very affordable price.

These bars are not cranked forward so one needs to use a longer stem for final fit. This makes for a very stable steering. The 47 degree backsweep is delightful and this bar is also readily adaptable. I obviously like them, so does one of my brother's.

Proslight, black finish hard wearing

Handlebars are light, well made, and the black finish seems hard wearing. Pair with some ergon gc-1 biokork grips for a really good, comfortable ride!

Do these bars taper down to 22.2?

I want to use these with Shimano Deore BL-T610 V Brake Levers, which have a 22.2 clamp. Do these bars taper down to that?

If not can you recommend an alternate V-brake lever to go with these bars
