Titanium handlebar for the S-type Brompton, a beautiful match for Brompfication's titanium seatpost.
The handlebars have the same size as the original Brompton flatbar and are made from grade 9 titanium. It has a brushed finish, similar to Brompfication's seatpost. The handlebar weight 145 grams, about 10 grams heavier than the original aluminium version. But then you also get a stronger and better looking handlebar, that deflect
shock very well and thereby increase the riding comfort.

ConsNo discerning difference in shock absorption
ProsIt’s Titanium!
I purchased this handlebar to match my seatpost. Very disappointing in that their are no logos or etching to identify it as a ‘Bromfication’ handlebar. In fact it could have been manufactured by anyone and just put in a box!!
In addition it could do to be slightly longer as it is marginally shorter than the Brompton’S’ bar.
No difference in shock absorption probably because it’s too short!

I was looking for a 25.4 mm handlebar and found this one, considering it's a Ti bar, the price is good.

Because of the 5 degree sweep does this stick out significantly more as compared to the original handlebar? (when the bike is folded).
