Just changed my bars to these on an S type Brompton. I have kept them at the full 600mm width and not changed the standard cables. The downside with this is that you cannot fold the handlebar stem. I guess fitting longer cables or chopping the bars a little would solve this. However for me its not really an issue as I only use the rear fold and the improved control & stability wins it. Bars were well packed and just as described from SJS.

Last week I changed the handlebars on my 2015 6SR to the Joseph Kuosac straight bars. The standard S bars are 520 mm end to end, the Jo Kuosac are 600 mm although I have shortened mine to 570 mm as I found 600 mm too wide. I find the new ones more comfortable to ride as the extra width in comparison with the standard bars suits me better as my shoulders are this width and I am 1.76 m tall. I also prefer the slightly more curved shape of the bars. It was a very straightforward swap across and I did not need to adjust the cables. I got the new handlebars from SJS cycles and the service was very good, with them arriving quickly and well packaged up, preventing any damage.
