Will this fit an Italian (1982 Colnago super) steerer or are the threads different?

The THREADS will be fine and almost certainly the frame cups, the thinks to "worry" about are the fork bottom seat internal diameter (not stated here, again probably the same) and the stack height, ie how much of the steerer is taken up by the whole headset, luckily you can measure your existing bike without removing the fork, if the fork is already out then it's the steerer length minus the head tube length, if you have MORE lenght then you can insert washers. This is a great headset. RT 10/04/2020

as long as the bike you are fitting it to has a 1” threaded fork steerer, this will work on either.

Will this work as a replacement for a Stronglight A9? I am looking for a black headset and this seems to be the best 1" threaded one.
