The markings are the same. Please can you clarify these are the correct bearings for my Thorn Audax which is 9 years old.

Are The Bearings Identical Or Different Sizes?
By

Hi,

Just stripped an orbit XLII headset off my bike. The bottom bearing is slightly larger (outer diameter) than the top bearing. Please can you confirm that this pair of bearings would be a suitable replacement?

Thanks
Jon
Hello,

One bearing does indeed have a larger outer diameter than the other, so we believe that this would be suitable.

Thanks.

I have a 2009 Thorn Raven Tour. The headset is marked FSA on the lower bearing cover and Crane Creek on the upper. Can you confirm that these are the correct replacement sealed bearings? Thanks!
Hello,

The FSA bearings will fit a crane creek headset so there should not be a problem.

Thanks.
