- Conventional headset is designed to fit standard frames & 1 1/8" fork steerers
- Headset uses custom made, replaceable stainless steel bearings to resist corrosion
- The cups, taper ring & crown race (which is split for easy installation & removal) are all machined from 2014 T6 aluminium
- Sealing is achieved through an adjustable taper ring cover & integrated rubber seal
- Available in: Black, Silver, Red, Blue, Purple & Orange
- Weight: 120g

follow on from previous question.
It was bought as alternative for a star nut as i thought it was a much neater solution. Should I revert to a star nut?

I bought this thinking i would be able to use it on a set of inch and eight Columbus carbon forks but it doesn’t want to fit into the top of the tube. I have loosened the bolt thinking that would decrease the width but still no joy. Is it designed for inch and eight forks or have a got something wrong?
