Is the nut dimension 32mm as ‘standard’ or ‘italian’ 30mm?

Looking to replace a 1” threaded silver/aluminium headset to match the black quill stem I just ordered from you. Have a 32mm wrench.

Interface between cup and cartridge bearing.

I may have damaged the cups bashing them into my head tube like a caveman. A bit of filing should round them out I guess. Should the cartridge bearing slide into the headset cup with no effort at all, with a little pressure with both thumbs or with a decent tap of a hammer?

Headset bearings should drop into the cup fairly easily, certainly no need for a hammer!
