ProsCan now service a Brompton front wheel
Good to find another another hard to get item from SJSCycles. This is a direct replacement for the Brompton front wheel axle, with cones and lock nuts. Brilliant for a front wheel service!

Hi, can you please tell me:

Do the washers go inside the forks after the cone locknuts, or outside the forks just before the axle nuts?

Thanks.
HI Nick

They go outside the forks just before the axle nuts.

Thanks

I'm trying to locate some replacement cones for my Suzue hub with an 8mm solid axle. I'm wondering if I'll be able to get away with these ones.
Hi, the approx OD of the one is 15mm and approx length is 12mm,

JTEK axle is 9mm longer than Brompton's. Can one fit Jtek cones on an original Brompton axle?

Yes, these fit the stock hubs perfectly, just have a little axle poking out of the end of the nuts.
