ConsQuality CroMo part more durable than original.

ProsWeighs more than original alloy axle.

Replacement axle for Novatec DH12SB rear wheel fits perfectly. Just remember to retain your old axle end caps!
These are CroMo rather than the original alloy axle. A bit heavier but at least it should not snap in two like the original. Fast shipping from UK to Australia!

ProsQuality CrMo part.

After 4 years of regular use, the axle broke in the rear hub of my winter bike...the hub is a novatec D812SB.
I ordered a replacement axle from SJS, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a part which seems far superior in quality to the original.
The fit is perfect and the finish looks far better. There is a difference in weight, the old axle weighing 37g, whilst the replacement is heavier at 100g.
While this difference might bother some cyclists intent on saving as much weight as possible, it won't make any difference to me, as I am riding for pleasure, rather than competition. I am happier with the more reliable axle.
Looking forward to putting a few thousand more miles onto this refurbished hub!
