Replacement required for a Naild 9-3-12 12x148 rear axle

Hi There, Any one had any experience of the Naild 9-3-12 rear axle system? The on one my brand new Marin Wolfridge Pro does not secure the rear wheel correctly. I appreciate that the rear of the bike is designed to have a certain amount of flex in it but if you move the rear wheel from side to side there is not only movement but also a significant clunk as if the bearing have worn our even though they are sound.
The only issue is there is quite a lot going on, on the retaining side of the system, so im not sure the exact speck of any replacement that I will require. Even if the axle fixing can be separated from the drop out, or if the replacement will also have to have drop out with it???? All thoughts and comments welcomed. james
We would not be able to recommend anything without seeing the bike. We would recommend seeing your local Marin dealer for advice.

Thanks
