ProsEasy to fit, light enough to take on tour.
When the cable broke I tried to replace the cable myself. A day in the garage later my effort was installed in the bike but still not working smoothly. I sent for the completed assembly & it worked. Save yourself the stress & buy this!

A bit fiddly to fit, when fitting i managed to let the cable unravel from the pulley, as the cable is quite springy.
It's all fitted now and the rohloff hub is working nicely.

I wanted this to take on tour in case my internal cable broke. High quality, high price.....................and I had to email Rohloff to get the English fitting instructions!

HiI need to change the hub cable on my 500/14 (model ref 040214). Is this the correct part?

Hi,

Assuming that it is definitely the internal gear mech version of the Rohloff hub then this is indeed the correct part you need to replace the hub cables.
