ProsRevives a tired wheel
I have a wheel that is still very good, with long lasting carbide coated rims, but the cones were a bit pitted and rumbling, so I used this kit to make the wheel roll nicely again. And it did. The only downside is having to pay nearly the cost of a new hub to do it, but even so it was worth it.

Delivered quickly and as expected to work with the hub on my 24h hubs on my Shimano factory XT wheelset.
Main frustration is that you can get whole hubs for less cash than this...but you can't get a hub with this part anywhere other than the full wheel!

Unfortunately you will not be able to use this part as it is not possible to convert Shimano wheels from one axle standard to another.

Can Xt Fh M770 Cones Be Supplied Seperatly

Hi,
The left hand cone is available separately as part of the lock nut unit (SJSC part number 32027) but the right hand cone is permanently fixed to the axle so although you can buy this as a kit (SJSC part number 31666) it works out more expensive than just buying the whole axle assembly.
