ProsPrice, ease of fitting.

After a little research into whether this would fit a 9 speed or not, I went with this one. I was a little confused with conflicting advise, but I have successfully fitted this with a 9 speed cassette. A good price, and original Shimano product. It comes with locking through bolt for the hub, no bearings (which I was aware of). Easy to fit with a few basic tools

When the freehub started to slip, I had to work out how to replace it. The whole hub set-up was new to me and finding the correct replacement was difficult. The SJS site had a clear picture which helped a lot. The hub was ordered, arrived in a few days and is now fitted and working fine.

ProsEasy to fit

Used it for FH-RM30. Says it’s for RM33 only but other bits of the internet disagreed. As this was only source I went for it and it’s a perfect replacement.

Consfinding someone locally who was so helpful to fit it for me

Prosit was easy to get the right bit pretty fast

I wasn't totally sure that this would fit my wheel but after speaking to the guy's I felt happier so purchased it. It fitted straight on and has worked like a charm since. I'm very happy with the service and quality of the part and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to sjs again its been a good experience!

Hi thank you for your enquiry, yes this will work an 8sp cassette fine however it will only work with the RM33 hub.
