Thanks be for SJS. And I wondered why the chain kept falling off. Seems that minor adjustment by the previous owner wasn't exactly optimal.
Where else stocks these? No one, it seems, but our reliable source...

Which anti rotation washers should I use on my Thorn Audax 853?

SJS Customer Service:

The Audax 853 will have VERTICAL dropouts, and there is no eccentric so you will have to use a chain tensioner. The Anti Rotstion washers needed for vertical dropouts are: Washer 8R - Dark Blue - Y34R85010 & 8L - Dark Green - Y34R85000.
